Key Responsibilities

In this position you will be responsible for creating and maintaining Idée’s core visual search technology. Starting from broad requirements, you will research, design, implement and validate state-of-the-art visual search techniques. The algorithms developed must be robust and maintainable in addition to being fast and effective.

Education and Experience Required

  • Solid background in image processing or computer vision
  • Familiar with pattern recognition, statistics, signal processing and linear algebra
  • Proficient in C++ and STL
  • Commercial software design/engineering experience
  • Capable of focused research on a tight deadline
  • Comfortable developing and executing a plan of action based on broad directives
  • Good communications skills, capable of explaining things in jargon-free terms
  • Very bright, indefatigable and passionate
